Moderate Fatah Murderers

Two weeks ago, a 29 year old man, father of two children, was murdered by Arab terrorists in Israel on his way home.

He was shot to death as he drove past the Palestinian village of al-Punduk.

The terrorists responsible for the killing were members of the Palestinian Authority (Fatah) Police. This is the group that is generally referred to as the "moderate" palestinian group, in contrast to the "extremist" Hamas group headquartered in Gaza.

The shooting happened on Monday night, the day before the Annapolis summit meeting where members of many Arab countries talked about peace while refusing to shake hands with any of the Israeli diplomats or meet with foreign minister Tzipi Livni.

If it wasn't such a tragedy, you'd think it was all just a bad joke. It is certainly absurd...

The US and Israel provide arms and money to Fatah whose members kill innocent Israelis. Israel releases hundreds of prisoners who've killed innocent civilians to help "prop-up" Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas) and Fatah because they are the "moderates" among palestinian groups. Many of the released terrorists plan and execute new terrorist attacks.

What is the difference between "moderate palestinian groups" like Fatah and an "extremist palestinian groups ", like Hamas?

A moderate palestinian group talks about peace and meets with Jewish leaders while killing innocent Israelis while an extremist palestinian group doesn't talk about peace while killing innocent Israelis.

Pakistan

It is only a matter of time before Musharraf's regime is tumbled by one opposition group or another.

Inevitably, the new power in Pakistan will be anti-American. They will resent American support of Musharraf and if, as is likely, the new leaders are associated with Taliban or Al Qaeda, they will be our active enemies -- armed with nuclear weapons.

In all probability, the new Pakistani leadership will be allied with Iran.

This is the perfectly legible handwriting on the wall.

So, what is America going to do about this?

Will moral relativism and liberal ideology rule the day, as it has for so long in the US? If so, we will "understand the feelings of the Pakistani people and..." subjugate our personal interests to theirs, destroying our security in the process.

Or will a renewed common sense and self-preservation instincts take over? Will we finally admit that people who openly call for our destruction cannot be ignored and can certainly not be allowed to attain nuclear powers? Will we do whatever is necessary to protect our country and its people?

I pray to G-d we will.

Why Release Arab Terrorists?

In August, PM Olmert released 250 terrorists from prison to "strengthen and support Mahmoud Abas" aka Abu Mazen the "palestinian president" and leader of the Fatah terrorist organization. Allegedly, this support is a counter to the growing strength of the Hamas terrorist organization which took over Gaza earlier this year.

Yesterday, one of the released terrorists was arrested in Khalil (south of Shechem) after shooting at IDF forces. He was found with numerous bombs and firearms.

Last week, a number of the released terrorists were arrested while planning a major terrorist attack.

All of these terrorists had previously pledged to cease their terrorist activities -- a precondition of their release from prison. (How can you tell an Arab is lying -- his lips are moving...)

What is Olmert thinking? Why is the US (presumably) encouraging the release of terrorist prisoners? Terrorists aren't converted by a stay in prison! They remain just as they were before their incarceration -- sub-human, murderous vermin who represent a real threat to civilization.

Bush, as incompetent as he seems to be, at least had the common sense to not release prisoners from Guantanamo (he should have just had them all shot in Iraq after interrogating them).

Releasing terrorists to prop up one terrorist organization against another is insanity.

Politically, supporting Fatah makes little sense since it is perceived as "moderate" by the world at large while Hamas is considered a terrorist group by at least some countries. As a result, it has a PR advantage over Hamas.

I'd rather fight an enemy that was recognized as evil by other countries rather than try to convince the world that the "moderate" group is, in fact, a terrorist organization as well.

Maybe Olmert should release Hamas prisoners? Please, don't anyone mention this idea to him.

Democrats Without A Clue

Eighteen US congressmen (all Democrats) visited Israel this week and met with Abu Mazen and Salam Fayyad (the new PA Prime Minister).

In typical fashion, these congressmen were able to assess the current PA leadership and state unequivocally that Yasser Arafat was the problem in Israeli-palestinian relations, but Abu Mazen and Fayyad represent new leadership.

This deep insight came after a brief meeting with these leaders of the Fatah movement whose Al Aqsa Martyr's Brigade is responsible for hundreds of deaths of innocent Israeli civilians.

The group included Muslim congressman Keith Ellison (the first congressman to take the oath of office with his hand on a Koran).

This group, plus a republican delegation that visited Israel a week ago, were both guaranteed by Fayyad that Fatah would not reunite with Hamas.

Why should they? Now, they can try to get a "three state solution" to the Middle East problems.

When will the west wake up and realize that the arabs in Israel have the same goal whatever their political party? They've been promoting the goal since the inception of the state -- the destruction of Israel.

They will regularly lie about their motives, goals and practices. They will kill innocent people while claiming they want "peace." They are laying siege to Israel (and the west) in ways we are too naive to see or too liberal to accept. The reality is there is no negotiating with this group because there is no room for them to compromise on their goal -- regardless of the leadership du jour.

Holland Gets It Right

Dutch Member of Parliament Geert Wilders said in a letter published in the De Volksrant newspaper that, “I have been saying this for years: there is no such thing as a moderate Islam.”

He went on to say that he was “fed up with Islam in the Netherlands," called for an end to Muslim immigration and that Holland should ban the Koran.

So, you're saying to yourself, "Maybe there is still some hope for Europe?"

Don't get too excited.

Apparently it is believed that the Netherlands Public Prosecutor’s Office will take the matter to court.

Why Support Abbas?

Why should Israel, the US and Europe be so quick to send aid to Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen)?

The palestinian authority (PA), led by Abbas, was trounced in the most recent elections, losing to Hamas.

The palestinian arabs have spoken. A huge majority supports Hamas.

What do we hope to accomplish by sending money and arms to the PA? Will this shift majority support away from Hamas? Will money and arms make the PA stop using its terrorist Fatah organization to kill innocent civilians (Jewish and Arab)?

More likely, whatever money hasn't already been taken by PA leaders will go to Hamas when it reasserts its control and the arms will help build up the terrorist organizations who call the West Bank and Gaza home.

Abbas is no "moderate palestinian leader."

He's a terrorist, with a long history of supporting and planning terrorism -- hardly moderate.

He wasn't elected by a majority of the palestinian Arabs -- hardly a leader.

This is just another naive attempt by the west to install someone in a leadership position who they think will help them down the road.

When will we learn that this doesn't work. Arab leaders are looking out for themselves, exclusively and their goals are not aligned with ours. It's unrealistic to think we can buy much support from them. We certainly can't buy peace in the Middle East.

This Must Be a Joke

The Washington Post today said that the US and many EU countries are lifting their embargo against the palestinian authority (PA) to help Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen, one of the terrorist leaders of the 1970s) to combat the "anti-Israeli militant group Hamas."

Since when has Hamas merited being called something other than terrorists or killers? Since when did the PA become a supporter of Israel?

It is only because Fatah (the PA's terrorist arm, directed by Abu Mazen, which only has its own name for political and PR reasons) is busier killing other palestinians these days than Israelis.

It only shows how small these two groups of sub-human, terrorist scum are that they can't sustain their killing of innocent, Jewish civilians while they simultaneously fight among themselves.

Wake up, world!

Violence and killing is the preferred means of doing anything among these people. It has been the case for a very long time. It is part of their culture -- where life does not have the value or sanctity that it does to Jews or Christians.

And, please don't be surprised when the money and arms sent to the PA show up in the bank accounts of the PA leaders and on the streets of Israel, aimed at innocent women and children.

Hamas Leader Speaking about Israel and US

Listen to what Ismael Haniyah, the prime minister of the palestinian authority (PA) prime minister) has to say about Israel and the US at yideoz.com.

How can the US and Israel listen to this garbage without declaring Hamas an enemy and declaring war against them?

When a foreign power makes a threat, it must be taken somewhat seriously.

If Russia or China made the threats that Hamas has made, I don't think the US would continue sending them money or arms as it does to Hamas via the palestinian authority. And in fact, we would probably declare a state of war!

It is time to remove Hamas from the equation of the Middle East!

Hamas - One Mouth - Two Stories

It's like the old joke, "How can you tell when a Muslim is lying? His lips are moving."

Hamas leader and PA Prime Minister, Ismail Haniyeh is offering Israel another cease-fire. Almost simultaneously, yesterday, he vowed publicly to continue battling until Israel is wiped off the map.

There is no value in any palestinian peace offer as they have demonstrated since the beginning of their fight against Israel. Almost immediately after any "negotiated" peace or cease fire, palestinians begin their attacks -- suicide bombings and rockets aimed at civilians being their favorite forms.

Part of it is probably their rug-merchant mentality and part of it is the fact they do not value life as most of the western world does. Mothers enthusiastically watch and even encourage their children to strap bombs to themselves to kill innocent Israelis. Muslims kill other Muslims as readily as they kill "infidels". Sunnis kill Shiites, Shiites kill Sunnis, one palestinian group kills another and on and on.

When will the world wake up? These people do not share the values of "civilized" peoples and cannot be expected to act like western countries.

It's time to stop listening to their rhetoric and respond to their actions!

Lebanese Shell "Palestinian Camp"

There are over 60 estimated fatalities in the clash between the Lebanese army and Fatah Al-Islam. This includes more than 20 soldiers, approximately 25 terrorists plus uncounted non-combatants in Nahr Al-Bard, Tripoli and Beirut.

Fatah Al-Islam is a terrorist group in Lebanon that is backed by Syria/Iran and a major element of Syria/Iran's strategy to take over Lebanon.

The group has been skirmishing with the Lebanese army recently and yesterday, the Lebanese army shelled Nahr Al-Bard, the center of the group's operations. The town is designated as a "Palestinian refugee camp" by Lebanon.

The fighting began in Tripoli when soldiers pursuing bank robbers accidentally raided a terrorist office and wound up fighting with Fatah Al-Islam forces.

The Lebanese government is deciding now whether it will send troops into Nahr Al-Bard.

Hamas: Wipe Israel Off the Map

A Hamas leader in Gaza, Nizar Riyan, says Hamas is determined to wipe Israel off the map and replace it with a "palestinian" state. He also called for bombing attacks in Ashkelon in addition to Sderot, according to Israel National News.

At the same time, Riyan said Hamas will pursue its goal even if PA leader Abu Mazen (aka Mahmoud Abbas) and other Arab states disagree.

Of course, these areas of Israel are well within its pre-1967 borders (where some Arab states have said Israel should withdraw to).

Arafat called for wiping Israel off the map and the PLO emblem on his fatigues showed "palestine" as encompassing all of Israel and the current terrorist leaders of the palestinians are no different.

It is time for Israel to take action and eliminate the real and present threat of the Arab terrorists with its borders and surrounding the country in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria.

Rockets fall in Israel almost every day. It is only through the protection of G-d that more people haven't been hurt. It is time for people to do their part and not rely on the continuing miracles of protection by G-d.

Arab Students at Hebrew University

Arab students at Hebrew University in Israel marched and staged a demonstration to condemn the foundation of the state of Israel.

They condemn the government that provides them with higher education -- something they would not get in almost any Arab country in the region. Something they certainly would not get from the "palestinian" government which prefers to spend its money on rockets and terrorist explosive belts.

They protest in a manner that would get them thrown into jail in any Arab country in the region. And they protest against a government that provides them the freedom to say anything negative they want against it.

It's time for Israel to wake up and realize that the Arabs living within its borders are a growing security concern. It is time to take measures that will eliminate the growing threat that is created by Arabs living in Israel.

There are many cases of Arab Israeli spies (including Arab members of the Knesset), terrorist attacks and support of terrorists.

Certainly "not all Israeli Arabs are guilty" but we can't take the risk of having these people in the country. The US chose to inter Japanese Americans during WWII, fearing what they might do during the war. Israel has much greater reason and more basis for eliminating the threat posed by Arabs within its borders.

These Arabs should be moved to "palestinian" territories immediately as part of the move towards a "two state solution".

Let Your People Go

The Mufti of Jerusalem has issued a ruling that forbids Muslims from leaving Israel!

This piles on top of the Hamas-affiliated "Association of Religious Sages of Palestine" [sic] ruling saying the same thing -- Muslims who live in Israel must stay there.

It isn't enough that Muslim countries account for well over 99% of the total land mass of the Middle East. They want to control a piece of land the size of New Jersey.

Since they have no historic, legal or moral claim to the land, they're going to just fill it with so many Muslims it will be like a ghetto overrun with rats and cockroaches.

Then, they can say, "See, we Muslims make up a majority in Israel and therefore, the Jews should leave."

The clear and stated goal of Muslims is to remove the Jews from Israel. If they can't do it through terrorism or pushing the rest of the world with their oil money, they will try to do it this way.

The Muslim war against Jews (and in the near future, Christians) is being fought on many fronts. The population front is one of the most insidious.

French Arabs Attack Jewish Woman

In only the latest of numerous recent attacks on Jews in France, a Jewish woman was beaten, had her clothes slashed and had at least one swastika carved into her chest. You can read the article at Israel National News.

The French, in their usual bureaucratic style and in support of their own anti-Semitic position, has not admitted that the attack was an anti-Jewish one.

I don't have exact statistics, but it seems that reports of anti-Semitic beatings in France are on the increase.

We can only hope that by some miracle, Sarkozy is elected by the French and lives up to his rhetoric. If he does, he will be an unusual example of a Frenchman because he will have some integrity.

Just for the Record

Last week, there was an article in the Washington Post that talked about a rocket being fired into Israel by the palestinians as if it was the first time this had happened since the most recent "cease fire."

Just for the record, this week alone, there were 10 rockets fired by palestinians in Gaza into Israel.

I will occasionally post the number of rockets fired during any given week so we can keep some perspective of what "cease fire" means to arabs. It certainly has a different meaning to them than it does to most people in the world.

Arab Israelis As Bad As Any Arab

Five young Jews were attacked in Jaffa this past weekend by a group of ten Arab youths with sticks.

The Jews were able to escape in their car, but the car was damaged by the Arabs.

Jaffa (aka Yafo) is just south of Tel Aviv. In the heart of undisputed (by everyone except for the arabs who believe Israel should not exist) Israel.

This is only the latest in a long series of violence and bullying by Arabs in Jaffa.

Why do we let this continue? Why do we allow these animals to continue to live in Israel?

If they can't behave like civilized human beings, they should be deported to some "palestinian" area in Gaza or Lebanon or some real Arab country.

It is clear that arabs within Israel are emboldened by the actions of terrorists from Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Iran as well as the rhetoric of other Arab countries to perpetrate this type of violence. And, I fear that they will become an instrument of war used by Arab terrorist groups outside of Israel.

It is bad enough that Jews must tolerate violence and anti-Semitism throughout the world, in every country they live. They should not have to tolerate it in their own homeland.

Israel must be restored to being a Jewish homeland where Jews can live in safety and without fear of violence from anyone. Any Arab that commits a violent act against a Jew in Israel must be dealt with in the harshest way. They must be treated as they would be treated under Islamic law (where they would probably be killed) or removed from Israel so they can no longer threaten the peace of this struggling country.

Hezbollah Admits Iran Pulls The Strings

Hezbollah admitted today that every terrorist act it performs must be approved in advance by Iran.

What additional evidence does the western world need that Iran, Syria and terrorism are completely linked? If we eliminate Iran's ability to fund or support terror, much of it will stop.

Iran has taken all the actions necessary to justify the destruction of its military, oil and nuclear infrastructures. Its finances must also be frozen so it can no longer fund terror groups around the world.

Once we cut off the head, the tentacles (terrorist groups around the world) will be easier to destroy.

The result will be a much safer world!

Syria Says It will Move Into The Golan

A Syrian government representative said today that if Israel did not respond to the Arab League's proposal that Syria would move into the Golan Heights. This, to me, is either a threat or a declaration of war. In either case, Israel should respond quickly and decisively to this garbage.

Israel should issue a statement that the Golan belongs to Israel and that any move by Syrian troops or armament towards the border will be taken as an act of war. Then, if Syria does move, Israel must decisively respond to stop any advance. Israel must protect its territories.

As you probably know, the Arab League "proposal" referenced by the Syrian representative is more of an ultimatum than a peace proposal itself. It said Israel must pull back to it's pre-1967 borders. The league's "proposal" says that the Arab countries would recognize Israel in return. There has been no sign that any Arab country is willing to open discussions or negotiations with Israel that might lead to a cessation of hostilities.

UK Stops Teaching About Holocaust

The UK has removed the Holocaust from its school curricula because it offends their Muslim population who claim it never happened.

There were six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned, starved and humiliated by the Nazis. It is impossible for any educated person to believe otherwise. There is extensive documentation of the atrocities of the Nazis and their attempt to systematically exterminate the world's Jewish population.

The British are fools and unfortunately are just an indicator of how the world intends to deal with Islam. Following are some of the current world rules for dealing with Muslims:

  • Never make a joke that involves a Muslim or hostages will be taken, world leaders will be burned in effigy and violent protests will be staged around the world.
  • Do not draw cartoons depicting the Muslim prophet Mohammed or death threats will be issued, countries will demand apologies, westerners will be beaten and flags will be burned.
  • Be sure to follow any statement about Muslim terrorists with multiple statements praising the (silent and invisibl) "moderate Muslims" who are still being sought out. (Perhaps we should offer a reward for one.)
  • Justify the killing of innocent people around the world by Muslims by pointing out that Israel exists.
  • And now, deny the fact that the Holocaust happened because these ignorant, violent, anti-humans are trying to create their own.

Hamas and Islam

Palestinian Media Watch (PMA) has recently translated a sermon given by Dr. Ismail Radwan on Palestinian Authority (PA) TV.

In it, Radwan states that "The Hour" (the Islamic resurrection and the end of days) is dependent on the killing of Jews by Muslims.

He also says that summits and negotiations will not be the solution to the fight with Israel, only violence. Even the "trees and rocks" will say "there is a Jew hiding behind me, kill him".

Radwan ends his sermon with a prayer to allah to "take" Israel and the US.

You can read the sermon and see the video at www.pmw.org.il.

This is a classic example of how Muslims/Arabs operate. While speaking somewhat moderately in English, they state their true feelings in Arabic.

There was a time in world history where this talk, promoted and subsidized by a "government", would be taken as a declaration of war.

Abbas to Israel: The Saudi Plan or War

Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen), terrorist president of the palestinian authority says Israel should accept the Saudi "peace plan" or raise its alert status.

Of course the Saudi plan (which the arabs call non-negotiable) is more a declaration of war than a plan for peace anyway.

(By the way, at the arab summit, the Saudis called for the end of the "occupation" of Iraq as well.)

It's all big talk from the royal family who can't do anything other than bleed their people for their own gain by taking the vast majority of the profits from their oil. It comes from the same country who couldn't produce their own oil and had to essentially nationalize the oil industry after foreign investors created an infrastructure to capitalize on their huge reserves. It comes from a country whose airforce can't maintain or fly the fighter jets it's purchased from the US.

The Saudis, like the rest of the Islamic countries of the middle east, would be eating sand if they didn't have oil. None of these countries has any economy besides oil. They produce nothing of any value for the world other than oil.

Their only export besides oil is terror.

Since the palestinians have no oil, all they can do is leech off of the countries who would give them money. The leadership steals most of this and a sizable portion of what's left goes to arming terrorists. What's left goes to the people.

Unfortunately, there are actually some countries who see the Saudi plan as a real proposal.

These countries fall into several categories:

  • Those who are ignorant of the realities and history of the Middle East.
  • Naive countries who actually believe that arab peace proposal isn't an oxymoron.
  • Islamic countries (no need for any further explanation).
  • Anti-Semitic countries who would love to see Israel (and all Jews) cease to exist.
I'm hoping that the US doesn't really fall into any of these categories, although Condy Rice sure makes it seem like it does.

Anyway, the leaders of the western world need to wake up and accept that the modern Islamic world movement's goal is world domination. Then, it needs to take the strong actions necessary to ensure that no Islamic country can threaten anyone.

"Piece" Plan

Condy Rice is strong-arming Israel to agree to the Saudi "peace plan."

Saudi Arabia's proposal for peace is:

  • Israel withdraw from all land outside of the 1967 border.
  • Create an independent palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
  • In return, the arab countries will recognize Israel.
I have a counter-offer:
  • All Islamic (Arab, Persian, etc.) countries recognize Israel's right to exist and agree to peace.
  • Jordan contribute land to an independent palestinian state (since it was a part of "palestine" as was Israel).
  • Israel has already given the Sinai to Egypt. Egypt should contribute part of the Sinai to the new palestinian state.
  • Arabs currently living in Israel should be relocated to the new "palestinian" state and all Jews living in Islamic countries should be allowed to relocate to Israel with their personal wealth and belongings.
  • Jews who choose to remain in Islamic countries and Arabs who choose to remain in Israel agree to be law-abiding citizens.
  • America, which clearly has no idea of what to do in the Middle East should get out and stop meddling. If America is threatened or attacked, it should bomb the country from which the attackers came until it is incapable of any further aggression.
Now, that's fair and balanced.

So, Condy - shut up and go home. Maybe go back to school and study the real world for a while. But certainly take your pro-Arab, pro-oil ideas and put them somewhere where they'll never be heard again.

Sanctions Won't Stop Iran

"If all of you gather and also invite your ancestors from hell, you will not be able to stop the Iranian nation" from pursuing its nuclear ambitions.

This is what Iran's Ahmadinejad said regarding UN sanctions.

Add this to his call for the annihilation of Israel and the US. Add this to his taunting of the US and claims that it can do nothing. Add this to his direct control of Hezbollah -- probably the largest terrorist group in the world. Add this to a long history of direct and indirect attacks by Iran and its agents against the western world.

The total is a clear picture of a dedicated enemy who feels he can act with impunity. One who has seen that for over 50 years, the US has been unwilling or afraid to use the full force of its military power. One who sees that Israel now bows to world opinion and so is unlikely to do anything to stop him.

Ahmadinejad also said "the Security Council today has no legitimacy among world nations."

He may be insane, but he appears to be committed to his own goals. Unfortunately, we cannot say this of western leaders.

We have allowed Iran to work longer and to develop more lethal weapons than we let Nazi Germany during the 1930's.

When Iran finally decides to begin its fight against the west in earnest, we will be fighting a much stronger and different enemy than we had in WWII. Iran will have nuclear weapons, intercontinental delivery systems, chemical weapons, biological weapons, a vast network of Islamic terrorist groups operating throughout the world and the ability to strike us and our allies from inside our own countries using terrorist "sleeper" cells.

Iran will not hesitate to use any and all of their weapons without any regard for the consequences.

With massive destructive capabilities and the zeal of kamikaze fighters, Iran will unleash a war that is unlike anything the world has ever seen.

That is unless we comprehensively respond to the threats they make today.

Negotiations, sanctions and the other "weapons" of the modern world have never avoided conflict nor caused any country to alter its path. In the history of the world, it is only military strength that has successfully stopped aggressors and ended conflicts.

We must:

  1. Eliminate Hezbollah.
  2. Identify and disable every terror sleeper cell in every western country.
  3. Identify and destroy all stockpiles of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons components in Syria and Iran.
  4. Destroy all of Iran's delivery mechanisms (missiles, ships, subs, etc.).
  5. Destroy all of Iran and Syria's nuclear reactors and processing capabilities.
  6. Replace the leadership of Iran and Syria.
No, it's not politically correct. It's called self-preservation. Wake up and smell the coffee!

They Don't Like Me

PM Olmert yesterday said that he knew he was unpopular. He said that if he spent more time working on himself [sic] instead of working on Israel, he would be more popular.

It does seem clear that the more he does, the more he screws up, so doing less for the country would probably help. PM Olmert and defense minister Peretz are unparalleled in Israeli history for their incompetence.

Olmert's failed policies (disengagement, etc.) and unwavering commitment to them despite overwhelming evidence of their inefficacy shows that he and his government are hopeless.

The question isn't if the current government will be changed, it is only a question of how and how soon.

Will it be dissolved by the Knesset or will Kadima find a way to replace the individual leaders to try to maintain power for the party?

In the meantime, former PM Netanyahu stands on the sidelines, licking his lips in anticipation of becoming PM once again while Tzippy Livni quietly hopes for her boss' job.

As in the US, where we haven't seen a decent Presidential candidate in many years, there aren't any good candidates for PM, just less bad ones.

Nor is there a party whose policies for the country can be clearly labeled the right ones.

As in the US, there seems to be no common sense among Israeli politicians today. Self preservation is no longer a priority and self interests are subjugated to world opinion.

So, it is too much to hope that any new government will do what's necessary to ensure the safety and future of Israel. But, it is unlikely that the new PM will be as unpopular as Olmert -- he's an easy act to follow.

Cease Fire Still in Effect

The new pa unity government is clearly in power and committed to all of the agreements of the previous government.

So, the cease-fire that was agreed to last year continues in effect with 5 Kassam rockets fired into Israel in the Negev.

We've learned over the past year that daily Kassam rocket attacks on Israel are a key element of any palistinian cease-fire.

Interestingly, the world finds nothing news-worthy about Kassam rockets being fired at innocent civilians during a cease-fire.

Where are the headlines? "Arabs Continue Firing Rockets at Innocents" or "PA Breaks Cease-Fire" or "Despite Agreement, Rockets Continue"

No, these headlines will never appear in any newspaper outside of Israel. Nor will the almost daily barrage of rockets be considered as justification for any military action by Israel.

Perhaps the reason why Israel is expected to tolerate these rocket attacks is because by trying to kill Israelis, Arabs are treating them just as they treat other Arabs. Perhaps Israelis should accept Kassam rockets as an indication of Arab acceptance.

Or, perhaps Israel should take a Zero tolerance stance against Arab violence to protect its citizens and show the world that it still has some self respect.

EU: Golan Should Belong to Syria

In yet another show of European pro-Arab sentiment, the EU's foreign minister (Javier Solana) said recently that he believes the Golan belongs to Syria.

The statement came as part of Solana's visit to the Middle East which included Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Syria.

Apparently he couldn't get a flight to Israel.

PA Unity Gov't - Same Terrorists... New Name

The palestinian authority (pa) has presented a new list of ministers to pa chairman Abu Mazen representing the new "unity" government.

The unity government does not recognize Israel and does not renounce terrorism.

What's different about the "new" government? For Israel -- nothing. For palestinians -- nothing. For the world -- nothing.

Different arabs, same agenda.

Where's the Money?

The palestinian authority's (pa) new finance minister (Salam Fayed) has discovered that more than 700 hundred million dollars transferred to the pa since Hamas rose to power have "disappeared."

The only conceivable reason for this declaration is that the new finance minister wants "deniability" in the misuse of the "humanitarian aid" to the palestinians.

What does "disappeared" mean in this case? How much has gone to weapons? Bribes? Graft? Corruption in the government? (I assume Mrs. Arafat has enough money now that she no longer gets millions every year from the pa.)

What a wonderful illustration of how much the palestinian leadership cares about their people.

Humanitarian aid "disappearing" strongly supports the image of the "poor palestinians" who suffer... at the hands of their own leadership!

If Arab nations or the pa actually cared about the palestinians' economic condition, it would have been improved many years ago.

When will the world realize that it is because the palestinians are the political pawns of Arab leaders that they suffer -- not because of Israel or Jews.

Do some research. Find out how much charitable aid is given to Arabs by Jews around the world. Then subtract all of the humanitarian aid that's "disappeared" from the amount given by the rest of the world to see who's really helping.

Arab Intrangisence

So, the latest "outrage" from Arab countries stems from Israel's lack of enthusiasm for the "Saudi Peace Plan."

To summarize the Saudi plan:

1. Israel should withdraw to its 1967 borders (before they won strategically important areas in bloody battles with its Arab neighbors).
2. Give the palestinians anything else they want.

In return, the Arab nations promise nothing of any substance.

Since the formation of the state of Israel, surrounding Arab countries have started multiple wars with Israel (losing all of them), continually terrorized the Israeli people, killed thousands of innocent Israeli civilians, fomented unrest within the Arab communities that are in Israel, subsidized Arab terrorism and continually tried politically to undermine Israel's security.

According to the Arabs, the source of all problems in the Middle East is Israel's existence.

Arabs have never suggested that a "two state solution" would bring peace. No palestinian group has ever recognized Israel's "right to exist." The only peace Arabs foresee is one without an Israel.

What is the point of "negotiations" when one side is unwilling to budge from it demands? How can you design a "win-win" solution when "winning" for one side is defined as the other side "losing"?

Israel has the right to its currently "occupied" lands. The right is documented in the bible. There is clear, historical evidence of Jewish settlement of the land throughout the centuries as there is clear historical evidence of Jews being forcibly expelled from their homeland long before it was even called "palestine."

If there is any "right of return" it is for Jews to return to the land they were given by G-d.

It will happen, one way or the other. Am Yisroel Chai!

Breaking Up is Hard to Do

It should be clear to everyone that, in every meaningful way, the US is not a supporter of Israel.

We are rapidly approaching the time when the US will even acknowledge that its strategic interests are aligned with "moderate" arab states, i.e., oil.

If you are saying that Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and it is "ideologically" in synch with the US, you are simply showing your naïveté. Money talks and bullsh!t walks as the saying goes.

Even our beloved Israeli PM realizes this (which is amazing given is apparently profound stupidity).

This is the only reasonable explanation for Israel acting like a ditched ex-girlfriend saying she'll do anything to get her boyfriend to take her back.

It's time to get over our breakup with the US and "play the field". Take from those who would give to us without forgetting that they are not motivated by their great love for Jews, but by their own ambitions. The source of their souls is the sitra achra. What they do "for good" is from their own self-interests.

Israel -- please wake up! We have no allies. We stand alone against those who would annihilate us and against those countries who would use us as a pawn in their own global games.
